Thank you exhibitors, judges, and the hard workers of the Michigan Dutch Club for a terrific show!

Great competition, great fellowship, and great food! The morning started out with free coffee, danish, and baked goods provided by Janet Bowers and Brenda Reau. The shows started promptly at 9:00 with three tables of open judging by Glen Carr, Terry Fender, and Mark Stewardson and one table for youth judged by Bill Patrick. When youth judging was done, Bill Patrick did a variety for open, meaning that the exhibitors were keeping track of animals on four tables. Due to the terrific camaraderie of the Dutch members, everyone was helping place rabbits on the table and taking them off for their fellow exhibitors. Surprising there were few delays due to missing rabbits.

Special thanks to Phil and Sara Lape for hosting the show at their local fairgrounds and participating in set up and tear down.

With a break for lunch and filling up with free ice cream provided by Herb Six, show B was on the way. Mark Stewardson judged youth, leaving Bill Patrick, Terry Fender, and Glenn Carr handling open. Best of breed for both open shows was held after the two shows, with Terry Fender judging show A open and Glenn Carr judging show B open. Exhibitors were able to pack up and head for home about 4:00, giving everyone a chance to travel at a decent time (except maybe our Wisconsin and West Virginia exhibitors).

Thank you to the great members of American Dutch Rabbit Club for participating in our show!
